Potash Farm is situated at the southern end of the
West Kent village of St Mary's Platt in the beautiful rolling
countryside between Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Maidstone. It is the first
website to sell cobnuts in their green, golden and de-husked states, as
well as offering an attractive assortment of associated merchandise
that provide excellent Christmas, Easter and one off gifts.
Alexander Hunt the owner of the farm also welcomes
farm walks that provide a splendid opportunity to learn more about
cobnut production and what is involved in managing a commercial
plantation. He has twenty-five years experience in cobnut growing and
now provides an expert advisory service for those farmers and growers
who are wishing to diversify into cobnut production.

There are a number of places to visit to make a day out when visiting the Potash Farm shop, including the delightful Great Comp Garden in the village. We're also very near to the National Trust property Ightham Mote, and also Knole Park at Sevenoaks and Chartwell at Westerham. Penshurst Place and Leeds Castle are also two enchanting places to visit.
For a bite to eat, The Blue Anchor at St Mary's Platt, The Swan on the green at West Peckham, The Chaser at Shipbourne, or The Paper Makers Arms at Plaxtol, are all fabulous pubs to enjoy the afternoon.

Great Comp Gardens is a third of a mile from Potash Farm and is one of the most attractive privately owned gardens in the county. A range of the Potash Farm nuts and products are available to purchase in the summer house where payment is made to enter the garden. The Potash farm stall will be present at their events.
Lullingstone Castle, Lullingstone, Nr Eynsford, Kent
Lullingtone Castle is 9 miles from Potash Farm and over the last decade has gained a strong reputation for Tom Hart Dykes world famous garden. The full range of Potash Farm nuts and products will be available to purchase on an exclusive basis to all their garden visitors. An attractive display of the products are in the porch of the main castle where payment is made to enter the gardens.
In addition a selection of the Potash Farm cobnut, walnut, almond and sweet chestnut trees are available to purchase from the garden nursery.
