This hamper basket is handmade with leather straps, using cane from overseas and measures 36cm (14 inches) long X 24cm (9.5 inches) wide X 12 cm (4.75 inches) depth. A Cobnut is a type of hazelnut traditionally grown in Kent. They are
harvested in their green state from mid August and with brown shells and
husks by mid October. All the Cobnuts are sold dehusked from mid October onward.
