The Shoreham Heavy Horse Show

The Heavy Horse Show is The Lions Club at Sevenoaks main fund raising event of the year. It generates between
£12,500 and £17,500 to support their work in the community. The event is fun for all
the family. It combines demonstrations by heavy horses, the engines of England before
steam power, with activities for children, a craft fair, a whole range of stalls
with local products and a range of fast food booths. There are also displays of veteran
cars, motorcycles, tractors and static engines. It attracts around 5,000 visitors
each year.

These sprung tongs are made from Kentish hazel trees, which are hand harvested on a coppice cycle. Coppiced hazel is very fast growing and is a strong and light wood as well as being a renewable resource that promotes woodland wildlife.

These Kentish Trugs are handmade using sweet chestnut, willow and hazel. If looked after they will last at least 20 years and are excellent for use as a fruit bowl, or the displaying of pot-plants.

It's made with luxurious vegetable oils to condition and protect the skin while gently cleansing the surface layer. The fresh wet walnuts from Potash farm will be available during a short seasonal window from Early October until Mid November. These are full of moisture and have a very distinct flavour and a very good following with the connoisseur of nuts.
